"Wrapped in Words" is a series of about 30 works, where I have used one of my father's old theology books as the starting points. The book is in German, and has the page's subject as the top text on each page. This gives the title of each work. On each page, I have first painted a water colour. Then I have used AI techniques to overlay the page onto photographic self portraits, in practice wrapping myself in the theological text. The subject of the series is the meeting of theory and reality, the holiness of the body, and as usual: The God-created man.
