A double first in December

I have been working on a new series of artworks for some time now. Quite small pictures, like small looking boxes. I really like working with them, so I am excited to see if the audience likes them as well.

This December two of them will be exhibited for the first time, in the December Exhibition at the Artist Society of Trondheim (Trondhjems Kunstforening). This is the also the first time that I have exhibited in Trondheim, my home town, so I am really looking forward to it.

The artwork shown here is "The Final Guardians", (45x60 cm.)

The exhibition opens on the 1st of December, and runs to the 20th of January. More info at
Trondhjems Kunstforenings web site.

Inspiration in Singapore

I am happy to learn that one om my artworks from the "Dreamers" cycle has been chosen to be a part of the interior design at the new campus library in the German School of Singapore. The curator there wrote: "We want to inspire our students and give them additional options to “learning through walls and spaces”. The artworks usually are related to a word cloud and come with a quote of a famous European. As a European school we are focussing on European artists or European related motives/ topics at our new campus."

The artwork has been licensed to the school through Bridgeman Images.

Am I an anorak for worrying about the climate? I feel that the crisis is upon us, and instead of cooperating, the nations are just creeping back behind their borders, comforting themselves in nationalism and consumption.

Our poor dear Earth. I really do hope we will manage to save you in time ... :(
